Lawyers and law students, including Al Otro Lado lawyer Erika Pinheiro, holding baby, meet in the Al Otro Lado offices in Tijuana to discuss the day's plan. Pinheiro was denied re-entry into Mexico in 2019. Lawyers had come to aid asylum seekers who had fled Central America and traveled to Tijuana, Mexico. The migrants planned to ask for asylum while presenting themselves to authorities at the US Port of Entry at San Ysidro, CA.
