Jordin Tootoo grew up in a small village along the Hudson Bay only a hundred miles from the Arctic Circle. The first Inuit to play professionally in the National Hockey League, Tootoo is close to his family and friends to nearly everyone in Rankins Inlet in Northeast Canada, as is evident at a memorabilia signing at the local market.
