Florence, Italy is the home of the Renaissance and one of the world's most popular tourist destinations.

The Orsanmichele church, once a Gothic warehouse, was turned into a church after a image of the Madonna appeared inside. Many of Florence's masters contributed work to the church, most famiously Bernardo Daddi's 1348 painting "Madonna and Child."
