San Pietro in Vincoli, also known as St. Peter in Chains, contains one of Michelangelo’s most famous sculpture “Moses”. The great Renaissance artist created the sculpture so that window light would illuminate Moses especially in the late afternoon. Now, special lighting allows visitors to see the changes as they would occur naturally throughout the day.
