Mammoth Lakes and June Lake region in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

The Eastern Sierra's towns of Mammoth Lakes, June Lakes and surrounding areas weathered a historical and record producing winter snowfall that carried over into the summer. The Parker Lake trail was one of only a few hikes devoid of snow in late June. The lake and Parker Creek were filled to capacity and wildflowers bloomed along the trail.
