Young woman golfer

ENCINITAS, CA, AUG.1, 2006: MacKinzie Kline suffers from a bad heart after being born with only one ventricle. She does not receive enough oxygen and is fatigued quickly. She battled the United States Golf Association to allow her use of a cart and her oxygen during competition. After initially being denied, the USGA allowed her to use both. She was good enough to gain entry into the U.S. Girls' Junior and the U.S. Women's Amateur championships. She was photographed at her home course Encinitas Ranch in Encinitas, CA on August 1, 2006 (Photograph by Todd Bigelow/Aurora).
