Joan Embery rescued 30 wild animals and 30 horses from her Lakeside Ranch as the fire roared up to the property line. Embery is seen with "Mugger", a 7-yr-old mountain lion, "Claudia" an Andean Condor, and Belles Peppy Boy, Joan's favorite horse.
